Some residents of my neighborhood apparently are unhappy that some military surplus land here here is to be given to the city and then used in part to house formerly homeless men, women and children or those who may be at risk for homelessness. Some of my neighbors have expressed concerns for the safety of the neighborhood and for the impact on the heron habitat we have in the adjacent park. As you can imagine, my view of God’s abundance spurred me into action – no need to think there isn’t enough for us all.
